Kaan Arici
Kaan Arici is a Turkish director, screenwriter and producer, born in 1984. After graduating from Istanbul Bilgi University Cinema-TV department in 2004, he got his master's degree in cinema from Copenhagen University. He completed his second master's degree in Cognition and Communication at the same university. He won acclaim with his short film Last Schnitzel, which he completed in 2017. His latest feature was LCV (RSVP - Please Respond), which won the best film in Frankfurt Turkish Film Festival in 2024.
Aysel K.
As a Bulgarian filmmaker with Turkish roots, Aysel’s directorial vision seeks to bridge cultures and histories through the art of storytelling. Her perspective as a human rights lawyer also deeply shapes her work, infusing it with a sense of doing justice to her exploration of the many nuances of the human experience.
Kerem Soyyilmaz
Kerem Soyyilmaz (1984), born and raised in Besiktas, Istanbul. Finished his film education in Yeditepe University and New York Film Academy. With a background in commercial films, Searching for Rodakis is his first documentary feature. Searching for Rodakis won 11 awards including the most prestigious documentary film award of Turkey, The Best Documentary Picture Award at the 30th. Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. He is currently based in Copenhagen, working on film and cultural projects on music, migration and history.
